Finally we have more new material from rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Two new songs have been released today and are part of 18 tracks which have been recorded. The rest are thought to be introduced over the next six months.

'Long Progression' and 'Strange Man' are the names of the first two songs which have released. The next 'Magpies' and 'Victorian Machinery' are thought to be heard in September some time.

These latest songs are officially released to buy tomorrow (11 August)

'Strange Man' is quite mellow at first, it sounds like a classic Chili Peppers song and is great for relaxing. A definite grower. Perhaps a bit more like one of the older classic numbers.

'Long Progression' is a bit faster and also holds the distinctive sound of the band. Both have great vocals and the prominent bass guitar from band member flea.

According to recent reports front man and vocalist Anthony Kiedis has been taking a break after foot sugary. Chad Smith, drummer of the Chilis said they have been working on new material.
