Elvis is Alive? U.S Border Control Create Virtual Elvis Avatar With Lie Detection Technology

in Latest

The future of border control technology is here, the U.S have created an avatar which can replace a human boarding officer and is even so clever can detect lies from passengers. This new system is called Automated Virtual Agent for Truth Assessments in Real-Time kiosk. It can be seen on the border from Mexico and is ready to pick up illegal immigrants and minor criminals.

As soon as we noticed the story we thought that the name Elvis must have some relation to the music icon 'The King Of Rock 'n' Roll', so we started looking for clues. Apart from having a slick black quiff, there wasn't much more we could find related to the real Elvis and we did not see any reports of singing skills from the avatar either.

Does it look like the King?

As reports emerged in papers and the media yesterday it wasn't long before references were made towards Elvis Presley, it was obviously named with the star in mind, sporting what seems a similar hairstyle, however there has been no official reference from the developers of the technology in any news reports to the musician. The Mail made a couple of references to the singer and comments by readers followed up after.

The avatar uses impressive technology which is monitored by sensors. Elvis is able to accurately detect lies of passengers when asked questions. The avatar goes of physiological responses from humans answers to determine the truth. They say its 90% accurate.

These latest technology reports by coincidence come at the same time as the 35th anniversary of 'The King' Elvis, where 70,000 fans are thought to flock at Graceland this week to remember the legend.
