Lucy Spraggan Stands Out in X Factor 2012: Little Mix Give Advice
- in Latest
Lucy Spraggan has got many people talking in the early stages of the X-Factor show, so much that last years winners Little Mix have come forward with some handy advice for her. Mix's words of wisdom to Spraggan was “stay humble and grounded and don't change” if she makes the live shows.
Lucy Spraggan has already got the attention of the media and the public with her amazing original performance featuring an acoustic guitar. At last many feel that there is somebody genuine with a great talent. More incredible, her own song 'Last Night' reached number 2 on iTunes last week. The only problem is that bosses of the X-Factor asked her to remove the song because they thought it made the show unfair for other contestants.
Not wanting to gamble her X-Factor future Lucy complied with the rules but since many reports have emerged that there maybe holes being exposed in the show.
Also, lets face it, Lucy had only one show televised for her record to gain that attention. Maybe things were timed a little bad as Little Mix single 'Wings' was to debut last week too. Imagine if Lucy Spraggan beat last years winners to the number one spot.
Lucy Spraggan is one of the first people to bring such originality to the show, more impressively people like her music too. Lets hope that she can make it far in the competition. My own feeling though is that she's had the initial boost already. Even the publicity about her having to remove her songs made all the papers, it was probably as good attention than keeping her song in the long run.
Since Lucy removed her song, Little Mix made the number one spot on Sunday, there was no risk of intervention from the rather unknown Lucy Spraggan.
