Entertainment production and management company W3 Entertainment, CMoore Concerts, and Knitting Factory Entertainment have joined forces to present their inaugural summer season for the new WINE COUNTRY AMPITHEATER for 2022.

The season features six concerts, with more possible. Formally, the City of Walla Walla has engaged Wine Country Amphitheater to produce an annual series of concerts and events on the grounds of the city-owned Veterans Memorial Golf Course. Wine Country Concerts’ series of 2022 outdoor summer shows begin Wednesday, June 8 with ZZ Top and conclude Tuesday, September 20 with Jackson Browne.

Tickets for the all-ages shows are on sale now at http://w3concerts.com/ and https://www.ticketweb.com, with some of the shows selling for as little as $45 general admission per person up to VIP packages for ZZ Top going for $215. Local residents can also purchase tickets in-person at Hot Poop Records , 210 E Main Street in downtown Walla Walla.

The current season, with ticketing links to each performance, is as follows:

All shows take place at the newly constructed Wine Country Amphitheater, purpose-built on the premises of Veterans Memorial Golf Course, located at 201 East Rees Avenue, Walla Walla, Washington. The venue is conveniently located only a few blocks from downtown Walla Walla’s city center corridor. The new venue accommodates 5,000+ patrons in the heart of Eastern Washington’s wine country.

Walla Walla City Manager Nabiel Shawa said, “Wine Country Amphitheater is going to rock Walla Walla this summer. It’s the ideal way to cap off a day of wine tasting. Dancing under the stars on a warm summer night. All within walking distance of our award winning Main Street!”

W3’s Scott Daggatt adds, “I moved to Walla Walla from Seattle to facilitate this project. The community, city management and government have been very helpful and fantastic to work with. This has definitely been a positive private-public collaboration.

We are excited to bring national caliber musical talent here to match our community’s world class wine region. I feel fortunate to have Knitting Factory Entertainment and its affiliate CMoore Concerts as partners. They bring with them some real organizational machinery to support this effort.”

Boasting more than 125 wineries, Walla Walla is one of the most internationally acclaimed wine regions in the US. Its world-class wines and beautiful countryside have ignited dynamic growth in both population and tourism in the city and the tri-cities area, taking in Pasco, Kennewick and Richland a little under an hour away. The City of Walla Walla is the economic business center and hub for culture, food and art in the region. Downtown Walla Walla’s magnetic city center houses many historic and restored buildings, numerous independently-owned retail businesses and restaurants (many of them farm-to-table) and more than 30 winery tasting rooms.
