The Comancheros have already shared the stage on tour with Randy Rogers, The Cadillac Three, Drake White, The Steel Woods, Alabama, Whiskey Myers, Blackberry Smoke, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
The southern rock band have been touring nonstop since 2015, and they've even had shows across the pond in England. Described as a 'heavy western band', The Comancheros roots are in country, but they tent to end up playing hard and fast. Interestingly, the band members were brought up playing in metal and rock bands, and their influences include AC/DC, Thin Lizzy and Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Now, The Comancheros will rock your world with their new single based on a true story of the aftermath of a relationship. “Yellow Roses” is a Midwestern cowboy’s idea of a heartbreak song that can easily double as a solo-drinking song. The first single from their upcoming album Memphis to Mexico, “Yellow Roses” exemplifies The Comancheros attitude affectionately known as heavy and western. Produced by The Kentucky Headhunters’ Richard Young, the single and additional upcoming music puts The Comancheros on the map. Beautifully crafted with acoustic guitar riffs and pounding drums, it’s easy to imagine a crowd singing the song with the one that got away in mind. Fans of Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Cody Lee Meece, and 49 Winchester will feel right at home amidst the music and aesthetic of the up-and-coming band.
