She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest at her home earlier yesterday afternoon. Paramedics were called to her home before transporting her to the nearest hospital where she received ‘the best of care’.
Priscilla Presley and her family released a statement saying:
"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,"
"She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known," Priscilla said in a statement.
"We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss."
Presley was mother to four children, including actress Riley Keough.
She had famous marriages from Nicholas Cage to Michael Jackson.
Tributes have poured in from stars and fans around the world.
Tom Hanks, who played her fathers manager Col Tom Parker in the latest Elvis film, and wife Rita Wilson, posted on Instagram:
"Tom and I had spent some time with the family during the Elvis movie promotional tour. Lisa Marie was so honest and direct, vulnerable, in a state of anticipation about the movie," she wrote.
"She spoke so eloquently about her father, what the movie meant to her, that it was a celebration of her dad."
Lisa Marie Presley was last seen in public on Tuesday night at the Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills alongside her mother Priscilla and actor Austin Butler who played Elvis in the new film.
She previously visited Graceland a few days later to celebrate what would have been her fathers 88th birthday with fans who came from around the world just to share their tributes.
She has released three studio albums, including the gold-selling To Whom It May Concern in 2003, 2005’s Now What and 2012’s Storm & Grace, selling thousands of records worldwide with positive reviews.
In 2018, she produced an album full of gospel songs featuring her late father called ‘Elvis Presley - Where No One Stands Alone’ and even featured a duet together.
