It seems that the love affair between the X Factor judges is well and truly over after Gary Barlow made a personal dig at Tulisa last night.

It seems that comments and criticisms about contestants have always been standard for the show as a way of the judges gaining some kind of ground for their own acts when talent just simply hasn't been enough.

Gary definitely had a festive devil on his shoulder when he retorted: “I don’t know what’s offended me more, what you said or your fag ash breath!”

He was of course responding to Tulisa’s comments about Christopher Maloney “destroying another 80s classic”.

Never one to let someone else have the last word, Tulisa responded by claiming that Gary himself stank of red wine. You have to give her credit for showing a little bit of restraint at least. She probably wouldn't have been so sparing with her words in her N-Dubz days.

It’s not the first time that the judges have reportedly fallen out. Gary Barlow’s relationship with Louis Walsh has become somewhat strained after Walsh caused Barlow’s first act, Carolynne Poole to be eliminated from the show.

Of course, if Gary’s attack on Tulisa is part of an attempt from ITV at making an interactive full sensual experience, I want my money back.
