Liverpool-based singer Anthony Russell has released his debut album 'By The River'.
Anthony, who rose to fame on The X Factor, has been working hard on brand-new material over the past few years, alongside a highly-anticipated live showcase.
The album features 12 new tracks including the album title 'By The River', 'She's Gone', 'The Promise', 'Love Will See Us By' and more.
Anthony will be performing the new material alongside his band at Liverpool's Camp and Furnace on 6th February 2023 alongside special local talent from Louis Smith, Ellis Murphy, and Fiona Lennon, tickets are still available from skiddle.com.
Chatting about the gig, he told the Liverpool Echo: "People are starting to support the cause and show me the love again after I let them down. That support is priceless and it is why I do the music. "People are giving me major love for what my passion is. I owe it to them and I just want to deliver and go out with a bang."
"I didn't think I'd be doing a venue as big as the Camp and Furnace as soon as I come back. I was thinking this might be too big a venue for me, but I'm taking chances." He added: "I was a bit anxious thinking what if people think I'm a washout or just a cover artist. But, this is the success that I've got by being sober, putting work in writing and getting my head down to make this album."
'By The River' is available everywhere now to stream and download.
