Robbie Williams Makes his Comeback
- in Latest
While the country is watching Gary “Borelow” give Simon Cowell a run for his money in the Mr Nasty stakes on the X Factor, the lighter side of Take That is waiting in the wings to make his epic comeback. That’s right, Robbie Williams is back and in spectacular style.
The singer has already had a busy year with the birth of his first child Theodora “Teddy” Rose back in September but he isn't hanging up his microphone to be a full time dad just yet.
As well as the sudden surge of activity in his personal life, Mr Williams has also been a busy boy in the recording studio working on his new album Take the Crown. The title of the album is a sly nod to the fact that his last effort Reality Killed the Video Star was largely a flop in the charts and how he now wants to, in his own words “take the crown back”.
Williams showcased the first single to be taken from the album, Candy on the X Factor in the fabulous style that only he can manage. Of course that involved a lot of confetti and lap dancing.
Helped along by this performance, Candy has been number one on the iTunes chart since it was released and stands to do exceptionally well in the official charts this weekend.
