X Factor's Jade Ellis in Row Over Tactical Voting
- in Latest
Singer Jade Ellis has slammed the X Factor Judge's decision to eliminate her from the show, branding it as tactical voting.
The single mum lost in the sing off against Louis Walsh's band Union J even though fans of the show agree that she did much better in the final performance.
The only judge that voted to keep her in was her mentor Tulisa, who strongly defended her act and looked mortified at her fellow judge's decision.
One reason that Union J was saved was allegedly because of their growing female fan base. Unable to understand why they had been in the bottom two, their mentor Walsh claimed that people were assuming they were safe and therefore not picking up the phone to vote.
In an interview, Jade herself said: “The vote could have been tactical. Maybe the judges thought Union J were less of a threat to their singers in the competition."
Fans and insiders of the show alike are beginning to feel like the sing-off part of the process is becoming a joke and that judge's votes are no longer based on the performances they see on the night. This is further adding to rumours of fixing results.
