Country music stars Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini have been announced as co-hosts of the upcoming 2023 CMT Music Awards. Brown will be returning as co-host for the fourth consecutive year, while Ballerini will be co-hosting for the third year in a row. The event will take place on Sunday, April 2, and will be broadcast live on CBS, as well as streamed on Paramount+.
The 2023 CMT Music Awards will be held in Austin, Texas, after many years in Nashville. Ballerini had previously announced the show's location and air date during a concert by Carrie Underwood in Austin last November. The show will also feature a performance by Ballerini, who is the artist with the most wins in CMT Music Awards history.
Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, will perform their hit duet, "Thank God," which is currently at the No. 1 spot on country radio for the second consecutive week. This will be their first performance of the duet on broadcast television.
In addition to his hosting duties and special performance, Brown is up for two awards at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, including Male Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year for his hit single, "One Mississippi," featuring Lauren Alaina.
Fans can look forward to an exciting night of music and celebration at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, with Brown and Ballerini at the helm as co-hosts.
