Indie veterans The Pigeon Detectives, who are known for their hit song 'I'm Not Sorry,' have just released their first single in seven years.

Produced by Rich Turvey, who has previously worked with The Coral and Blossoms, the new single, 'Lovers Come And Lovers Go,' is a reflection of where the band is currently at in their lives, while still capturing the raw energy and catchiness that they are renowned for. The group, led by Matt Bowman and formed in 2004, has promised their fans plenty more in 2023.

This release follows the band's 10th anniversary of their platinum-selling debut album 'Wait For Me' in 2017 and 15 years of 'Emergency' earlier this year. Their previous album, 'Broken Glances,' was dedicated to their loyal fans, and Matt has said that the album was an ode to everyone that’s ever bought an album or turned up to a show.

The Pigeon Detectives are an English indie rock band from Leeds, formed in 2004. The band consists of Matt Bowman (vocals), Oliver Main (guitar), Ryan Wilson (guitar), Dave Best (bass) and Jimmi Naylor (drums). They released their debut album "Wait For Me" in 2007, which reached number three on the UK album charts and earned them platinum status.

You can stream 'Lovers Come and Lovers Go' on all major streaming platforms.
