Today marks the release of Stoned Cold Country, a tribute album that celebrates The Rolling Stones' 60th anniversary with new renditions of their classic rock hits performed by some of Country's biggest stars. Produced by Robert Deaton, the album features an impressive lineup of musicians such as Jimmie Allen, Brooks & Dunn, Eric Church, Maren Morris, and Zac Brown Band, among others.
Each artist adds their own unique style to the beloved music of The Rolling Stones, resulting in an electrifying tribute album that pays homage to the iconic band. The album includes 14 lively performances of classic Stones tracks, recorded in some of Nashville's most renowned studios.
Deaton, who has been fascinated by The Rolling Stones' influence on Country music, had been working on this tribute album for several years. He is thrilled to finally introduce it to the world and hopes that everyone will join in celebrating The Rolling Stones' remarkable 60-year journey as a band. Prior to the release of the album, several hit songs were made available, including "Sympathy for the Devil," "Miss You," and "It's Only Rock 'N' Roll (But I Like It)," performed by Elvie Shane, Jimmie Allen, and Brothers Osborne & The War And Treaty, respectively.
