There are fears over Lucy Spraggan’s future on the X Factor after it has been revealed that she is still unwell.

Her best friend on the show, Rylan Clark has confirmed that she is still “really, really ill” and that he has “been at home looking after her”.

There is no news as yet as to whether she will able to perform on Saturday although there are rumours that if she is unable to perform this week then she will be eliminated.

There has already been a backlash from fans that deemed the decision to give Spraggan a free pass to this week unfair after both Kye Sones and Jade Ellis were forced to perform despite both of them coming down with the flu.

There has also been talk that Spraggan is unhappy with the show over not being able to sing her own songs which is prompting many people to think that she has already actually quit the show although Rylan has been quick to dismiss these claims saying that “she is very happy show- wise”.

Spraggan has had a rough couple of weeks during which her Gran has died, as well as her illness. Whether she will be up to continuing in the competition remains to be seen although there is a lot of support out there from her many fans.
