James Blake, the accomplished singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, has recently unveiled his latest single, "Loading." This track is a notable addition to his upcoming sixth studio album, "Playing Robots Into Heaven," scheduled for release on September 8th via Polydor / Republic Records.

"Loading" was introduced as BBC Radio 1's "Hottest Record In The World," and James Blake himself joined Jack Saunders on air to discuss the single and the forthcoming album. The song showcases James' distinctive style, demonstrating an impressive evolution with its mesmerising production and irresistible refrain.

Preceding the album, James Blake had already set the stage with the release of the single "Big Hammer," which featured samples from The Ragga Twins, accompanied by a music video directed by Oscar Hudson (known for working with artists like Radiohead and Bonobo).

"Playing Robots Into Heaven" follows the well-received album "Friends That Break Your Heart," which achieved James' highest charting success in the UK to date. The new album will take James back to his electronic roots, reminiscent of his earlier works with Hessle, Hemlock, and R&S records. Additionally, it will draw inspiration from his recent CMYK event series in collaboration with Ronda INTL, which garnered immense popularity and sold-out events featuring guest appearances from artists like The Ragga Twins, Steve Lacy, Channel Tres, HAii, and more.

To celebrate the release of "Playing Robots Into Heaven," James Blake will embark on an international tour, covering various locations in the UK, Europe, and North America. The tour will commence on September 18th at the Fabrique in Milan, followed by a hometown show at Alexandra Palace in London on September 28th, concluding in Los Angeles on October 19th. Tickets for the tour are available for purchase on his official website, www.jamesblakemusic.com.
