In the wake of the grand 10-year celebration in 2023, Country To Country (C2C) returns to kick off another decade of honoring country music. Since its inception in 2013, C2C has evolved into Europe's premier destination for witnessing top-tier country artists and emerging talents. The year 2024 promises an array of remarkable performances at The O2 in London, The OVO Hydro in Glasgow, and, for the very first time, The SSE Arena in Belfast, spanning from Friday, March 8th to Sunday, March 10th, 2024.
C2C has consistently brought country stars to the UK, and it's with great enthusiasm that they announce the first-time headliners Kane Brown and Old Dominion, who will share the stage with country music luminary Brad Paisley, a 14-time CMA and 3-time Grammy award winner. They will be joined by returning favorites, such as multiplatinum-selling and award-winning artists Carly Pearce and Brothers Osborne. Additionally, Nashville's rising stars and prolific performers, including Jake Owen, Lauren Alaina, Brian Kelley, Elle King, and Drake Milligan, will make their debut appearances on the C2C main stage.
The Country Music Association's (CMA) international series, Introducing Nashville, returns to introduce Nashville's iconic songwriter round setup to the UK. This will feature three promising emerging artists sharing their stories and tracks on the main stage. Following her participation in Introducing Nashville in 2022, the acclaimed rising superstar Priscilla Block will also return for her very own mainstage set.
Country to Country, which had its inaugural event in 2013 headlined by Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood at The O2 London, has grown into a three-day multi-arena event showcasing the best of country music and programming that fans have come to love and expect. Tens of thousands of attendees grace the event each year. C2C not only showcases performances by the world's finest country stars but also highlights emerging talent from Nashville, the UK, and Europe. In its eleventh year, BBC Radio 2 continues its partnership as the broadcast partner for the event.
Milly Olykan, CMA Vice President, International Relations & Development, noted, "From ticket sales to streaming, Country Music has seen its best year yet in the U.K., and C2C has been a key element in that success." She continued, "The festival continues to provide opportunities for fans to discover new artists, while also giving more established Nashville artists international exposure and profile. We are incredibly proud to continue to partner with C2C and engage with the invaluable industry and media in the U.K. who work to further our genre year-round."
Bob Harris, the legendary broadcaster and BBC Radio 2 presenter, expressed his delight at returning to C2C in 2024. "It's my tenth time hosting what I truly believe is the best country music festival in the world! I can't wait to get back onto that stage at the O2 and back into our Radio 2 studio to bring millions of listeners the very best that C2C has to offer."
The C2C Spotlight Stage is also set to make a return, and details of the full lineup will be announced in the coming months.
Tickets for the event will be available for general sale starting at 10 am on Friday, October 20th. You can purchase them at: https://c2c-countrytocountry.com/
