It seems that South Korean pop sensation PSY is making some very famous friends.

The man behind YouTube and now chart titan Gangnam Style already lit up the stage at the MTV EMA awards performing his iconic hit with Heidi Klum but has now given the Queen of Pop Madonna a run for her money live on stage.

She invited PSY to appear as a special guest on the Madison Square Garden leg of her MDNA tour telling her fans: "Because you've been working so hard on smashing your egos I have a little surprise for you.

"A song I haven't sung for a while. You're gonna have to help me out with everything. I'm tired, I've been doing this for a year!"

They then performed a mash-up of Madonna’s hit song Give it 2 Me and Gangnam Style with Madonna even giving the horse riding dance a go.

PSY has been keeping his fans in suspense through Twitter. Before appearing with Madonna he had tweeted saying: “I think tonight I am going to go dance with a friend and make some history. You will see.”

Since then he has also hinted at a possible collaboration with Justin Bieber having told Capital FM: “Yeah, so we have a plan to do something together later but we doesn't have any details yet. But, sure – we gonna do some work later on."

Nothing is set in stone yet but PSY is bound to be keen to keep up the pace off the back of his Gangnam Style success.
