Nashville's rock-heavy trio, The Cadillac Three, have returned with their sixth studio album, "The Years Go Fast," marking a powerful moment in their discography. Released through Big Machine Records, this introspective album showcases the band at the peak of their musical prowess, refining their unique 'Country Fuzz' sound with a gritty authenticity that comes from years of experience.

Frontman Jaren Johnston reflects on the journey, "It's been exciting to release these songs from The Years Go Fast and play them on the road. The reaction from the crowds has been awesome. So much changed in our lives since the last album, between losing loved ones and having babies. It feels good to get the music from that time in our lives out into the world."

The album's creation was shaped by a series of significant changes and challenges in the lives of TC3. In 2020, the trio released two albums, "Country Fuzz" and "Tabasco & Sweet Tea," before confronting a period of intense upheaval.

"We put out 31 songs in one year. It was like, let’s give people a breather. Let’s give us a breather," Johnston explains. "We were coming off COVID, and then my dad passed away. It’s a whole different life now. Talk about having some stuff to write about."

"The Years Go Fast," the ACM-nominated group's sixth studio album, encapsulates their journey through these trials and the growth they've experienced. The album's sound is expansive, reflecting The Cadillac Three's ongoing experimentation with their distinctive blend of country-rock. Still, it retains the unmistakable essence that only this trio can bring.

Drummer Neil Mason comments, "This record does have a lot of growth, a lot of hurt and heartbreak. We are a little more grown up now, but we’re still doing the same thing we were doing in the beginning."

"The Years Go Fast" is a testament to significant change, while also celebrating the enduring values of friendship, love, and family when everything seems to unravel.

While the changes in the band's life were often sudden and dramatic, their sound evolved more subtly. The album offers glimpses into the diverse musical influences that have caught the group's attention over the years, from the organic funk of "Tabasco & Sweet Tea" to pronounced metal elements in "The Years Go Fast." The band's approach, however, is never dictated by the pursuit of commercial success.

Johnston, who is also a prolific songwriter and producer outside the band, states, "Anytime we’ve tried to chase anything, we have ultimately failed. It’s the times when we step out and put our hearts on the road so people can drive over them, that’s where we win."

With "The Years Go Fast," The Cadillac Three wears their hearts on their sleeves, showcasing themes of loss, connection, and resilience in a deeply moving and honest exploration of life's complexities.

"The Years Go Fast" is now available on all major streaming platforms. The trio is set to hit the road this fall for "The Years Go Fast Tour." For ticket information and more, visit thecadillacthree.com.
