The members of Girls Aloud are set to reunite for a greatest hits tour scheduled for May and June 2024. Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, and Kimberley Walsh, the surviving members of the group, plan to commemorate the 21st anniversary of their victory on 'Popstars: The Rivals,' alongside the late Sarah Harding.

Despite not creating new music, the group aims to celebrate their existing discography. Cheryl mentioned that discussions about a reunion began several years ago, focusing on the 20-year anniversary of Girls Aloud. However, plans were put on hold when Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer and subsequently passed away in September 2021.

Now, with a renewed sense of energy and timing, the group sees fit to honor Sarah and their collective journey. The tour will serve as a celebration of their late friend, as Cheryl expressed, "It's the right time to celebrate Sarah, it's the right time to celebrate the band, and the right time to celebrate the fact we can still do this 21 years later."

Kimberley highlighted the outpouring of love over the past year, indicating a shift in their collective perspective. She stated, "It feels like something has changed, and it does feel like the right time to celebrate Sarah and the 20-year anniversary that we didn't celebrate at the time."

The group hopes that fans will derive as much enjoyment from the tour as they anticipate. Nadine emphasized the impact Girls Aloud had on people's lives and expressed the desire to share a moment of joy with fans during the tour.

Nicola reflected on the enduring fan love and confidence in their reunion, noting that the tour will be a massive celebration of their journey. The members aspire for concertgoers to leave with a memorable experience, saying, "We want people to leave being like, 'Wow, I've just had one of the best nights of my life.'"

Tickets for the tour will be available for pre-sale on Wednesday, November 29, at 9 am, with the general on-sale beginning Friday, December 1, at 9 am, accessible through girlsaloud.com.
