Westlife’s Kian Reveals he Would Love Gary Barlow’s Job
- in Latest
It has recently been reported that Gary Barlow is unlikely to be returning to the X Factor next year after numerous upsets on the show and disagreements with producers backstage.
Show bosses won’t have much trouble replacing him though Kian Egan as revealed that he would love to take the role though only if his former manager Louis Walsh is still on the panel.
The former Westlife star has been developing his career on TV since the band announced they were disbanding. He has recently appeared on Surprise Surprise and has already been on the Xtra Factor.
He recently told the Sun: "Being on The X Factor judging panel would be an amazing gig and something I would thoroughly enjoy. I would hate to replace Louis Walsh. That would never be my intention.
"It's an amazing TV show and a great one to be a part of. I certainly feel that since The X Factor started I've been around it and in it an awful lot.
"I did the judges homes' with Louis, presented The Xtra Factor a few times and this will be the first series of the main X Factor show that Westlife don't perform on."
Show boss Simon Cowell has already hinted that there will be big shake ups in the judging line up for the next series but it remains to be seen if the Irish star will be officially offered the job.
