Emerging singer-songwriter Myles Smith, hailing from Luton and now based in London, has recently recorded an acoustic session for his acclaimed track, 'Behind.'
At just 25 years old, Myles Smith has swiftly carved a niche for himself in the music industry. Commencing his journey by consistently sharing covers on TikTok since August 2020, his musical prowess gained significant recognition when an Amber Run cover amassed over 1.4 million views in 2022. Notably, his TikTok rendition of The Neighbourhood’s ‘Sweater Weather’ went viral early in 2022, leading to a full-length release on various DSPs. The track has since garnered an impressive 12 million global streams on Spotify.
In addition to his covers, Myles has been teasing his original compositions, including 'My Home,' 'Solo,' and the well-received 'Behind.' Within just three months, these original tracks have collectively amassed a staggering 50 million global streams on Spotify alone. The breakout hit 'Solo' has contributed over 21 million global streams on Spotify, accompanied by the release of the official video in December of the previous year.
Beyond his musical accomplishments, Myles Smith graduated with a notable post addressing the lack of diversity in the workplace, garnering attention from major corporations. He's been involved in consultancy, supporting educational institutions, organisations, sports clubs and firms to embody informed anti-racist principles and approaches.
Looking ahead, Myles is diligently working on completing a 6-track EP slated for release later this year. Additionally, he is gearing up for a US and UK tour scheduled to kick off later this month and extend into March.
