Vevo, the top music video network globally, presents pop star Tate McRae's latest special live performance of "exes" as part of Vevo's Extended Play series. (Watch video below). Tate McRae and Vevo have a history of collaboration, starting with DSCVR performances like "happy face" in 2020, followed by a studio performance of "she’s all i wanna be" in 2022, and Vevo Footnotes for “greedy” and “exes” in 2023.

Tate expresses her gratitude, saying, “I am so honored to have collaborated with Vevo on this project. I’ve admired Vevo’s unique ability to capture live performances so beautifully and artistically for a long time. A big thank you to Liz Hart, whose vision guided us throughout the special day!” Extended Play captures multi-song performances in different locations to showcase the artist's project vision. Tate's "exes" performance, filmed in Los Angeles, reflects her aesthetic.

The series begins in an anchor space and steadily works through different locations, showing viewers the evolution of the music through creative workflow. Through artists’ close collaboration with Vevo’s team, Extended Play marries the art of songwriting with breathtaking visual settings for a series of bespoke performances.

The video starts with Tate entering a cozy bedroom with gold curtains, wearing a brown sweatsuit. She joins her keyboardist and guitarist, delivering a performance against a curtain backdrop.

The YouTube comments have already started pouring in, saying: "Am I the only one that their favorite singer is Tate!!!! Her music is beyond perfection!" Another says, "Tate McRae... is a real singer; singing live is never easy."

I am so honored to have collaborated with Vevo on this project. I’ve admired Vevo’s unique ability to capture live performances so beautifully and artistically for a long time. A big thank you to Liz Hart, whose vision guided us throughout the special day!”
