Trentham Live is pleased to announce the final addition to the headline acts for their 2024 music event. This year's 4-day music extravaganza boasts an impressive lineup, including Busted, Jess Glynne, and Manic Street Preachers. The event is scheduled to take place from Thursday, August 15th to Sunday, August 18th, 2024, offering four exciting shows in a unique setting.

On Thursday, August 15th, Deacon Blue will headline the stage against the picturesque backdrop of the Trentham Estate, kicking off Trentham Live 2024 with a thrilling start.

Deacon Blue, formed in 1985, released their iconic debut album, Raintown, thirty-six years ago. Last year, they released 'All The Old 45s' – The Very Best of Deacon Blue, along with a career-spanning anthology box set titled You Can Have It All – The Complete Albums Collection.

The band is known for their dynamic live performances and is eagerly anticipating their outdoor events this summer, including their performance at The Trentham Estate in August. Vocalist and songwriter Ricky Ross expressed excitement about celebrating Deacon Blue's impressive catalog with their loyal fans. "We can't wait to get on stage at Trentham and play All The Old 45s in such a stunning location," he said.

Deacon Blue consists of Ricky Ross, co-vocalist Lorraine McIntosh, Dougie Vipond (drums), Jim Prime (keyboards), Gregor Philp (guitar), and Lewis Gordon (bass).

Following the success of their arena tour last year, Deacon Blue promises a night of unforgettable music and entertainment within the beautiful grounds of the Trentham Estate.

Trentham Live has become a staple on the UK festival calendar, attracting music enthusiasts from near and far. Head of Events, Kerrie Pope, expressed excitement about the final headliners for 2024's Trentham Live. "We are delighted to announce Deacon Blue as our final headliners for 2024's Trentham Live," she said. "We've curated a lineup of great music while ensuring the event remains affordable for all, with tickets starting at £45 for Deacon Blue."

The event has become a favorite among families, with an increasing number of them choosing it as their first live music experience with young children, along with a diverse selection of food vendors.
