Emmy Award Winning television company, Production Partners, Inc. and its new indie record label Cowboy Records
Releasing new single, for singer/songwriter, Travis “Randall” Hughes, country folk song “It’s On Me.”
Cowboy Records was formed in 2016 by PPI to develop and produce an album for the 2018 PCCAA award winning, singer/songwriter, Hoyt Hughes, which led to the introduction and current collaboration with Hoyt Hughes’ brother, Travis “Randall.”
Travis “Randall” Hughes is a long-time, prolific songwriting/singing member of the famed central Florida, Lundyville Music Hall scene. He has entered and won numerous songwriting contests through their associations and collaborated with many of their successful artists including, Jim Stafford of “Spiders and Snakes” fame, who regularly performs a co-tailored version of the Travis “Randall” song, “The Pet Song,” and has even invited Hughes onstage to perform the song at one of his concerts.
The current release “It’s On Me” is a co-write between Sandy Chanley, and Hughes, and produced by the award winning team of Chanley (CEO of PPI) and Keith Truesdell, (VP of PPI). The song is an upbeat and catchy, country folk-style song about betrayal.
Notable contributions to the recording are Grammy Winning mixer, Tom Weir, of legendary Studio City Sound. Additional instruments (acoustic/electric guitar) played and recorded by Ryan Mascilak of Saint Finbar Studio, Cowboy Records’ signed solo artist, Rob Math (2018 Rock Godz Hall of Fame Inductee) on background vocals. Travis “Randall” Hughes on lead vocal and acoustic guitar.
