Get To Know: Cafe De Anatolia

by Adam Bailey

Cafe De Anatolia have recently passed 100 000 subscribers on their 3rd YouTube Channel - Cafe De Anatolia Ethno World (link).

In addition, they've just had a big release on the 22nd July from Rialians On Earth, which was included in many Editorial Spotify Playlists such as: Organica and huge YouTube Promo Channels, plus being supported by Dancing Astronaut, CULTR and EDM Sauce.

Feel The Touch of the Orient, explore the Balkans, picture the beauty of Anatolia, fly over Andalusia to the foggy cliffs of Mykonos, rave with the Aegeans, taste the ancient Moroccan cuisine, breathe in the spiritual notions from Egypt and dive in to the tales of Scheherazade.

Cafe De Anatolia's delicate organic grooves selection mixed with Middle-East ornaments, tribal percussion, ancient moods, the sound of the desert, camel riding and eagles whirling in the sky will nourish you with positive vibes to explore and will open up a new horizon worth seeing and believing.

Think about a world without borders. Think Burning Man. Think of an eternal journey around the globe.

Starting back in 2017, Cafe De Anatolia was founded by Billy Esteban and his daughter Monika Ilieva and later managed by her and Rialians On Earth, the label has grown into an internationally recognized music collective that promotes the highest quality of chill-out music, folktronica, electronica, downtempo, melodic techno, progressive house, deep house, organic house and everything in between these genres.

Rialians On Earth, Billy Esteban and Monika Ilieva took the time to share with Music Talkers their inspiration, main goal and things behind the curtains within Cafe De Anatolia.

What inspired you to create and start an indie-record label?

Rialians On Earth: "Inspiration came from the purpose of seeking to live in the present, away from all world distractions, far away from everyday worries and insignificant obstacles. Cafe De Anatolia was born to embrace the beauty of our only one, Mother Earth. Cafe De Anatolia music transcends and unites centuries of world music blended with modern electronica beats. Every new release is a special journey for us and the fans''.

What was your main goal? What keeps you motivated?

Monika Ilieva: "Firstly, we are glad that we gathered and grew a brand that unites people from different cultures, different habitats and with different beliefs. We aim to transport people to places that they have never been or felt. Our main goal was and will always be taking our fans on a musical journey throughout the mystic Orient."

What is the difference between Cafe De Anatolia and today's music?

Billy Esteban: "We hear music on the radios, social media and TV stations today that has already been heard and seen a gazillion times. It is great and well polished but it's repetitive and based on trends. Cafe De Anatolia is different. Keeping the audience entertained and engaged is essentially important but we also force ourselves to make music that will last forever. Our music is our way of expression, so we take our role with huge responsibility. We see Cafe De Anatolia as the shaman and our fans as the travel visionaries shaping the story. We built this together. We are in this together."
