After 27 years of working long hours in a well-established career in television operations, singer/songwriter Kurt Gott decided to quit and start a new career in music at the age of 50. Now one year later, he is 51 and about to release his second album and playing four to five shows every week.

Indie-artist, Kurt Gott is thrilled to announce the release of his latest album "Last Call" and the debut single off the album "Deal Me In" which was released on July 24, 2021. The new single has already been featured on the Indie Network Radio & TV Show and broadcast to more than 700 million listeners around the world.

All ten tracks were written, performed and produced entirely by Kurt in his home studio and featuring his duo partner and local musician Cary Scope, who contributed on drums, bass guitar, electric guitar and vocals. His music is best described as a blend of rock, country and blues and reminiscent of the classic sounds of such artists as the Eagles, Tom Petty and Jimmy Buffet. This is a pure, organic collection of ten songs that were recorded without the use of drum loops, samples, special effects or auto-tune.

The theme throughout the album reflects the recent changes in his life of tossing away the business clothes, saying goodbye to the corporate world and trading it all in to pursue his passion.

Kurt began his musical journey at age 13 when his dad bought him his first guitar and he taught himself how to play. He also plays piano and blues harmonica and played these instruments on the album.

'"Deal Me In' by Kurt Gott is a buoyant rock tune, drawing listeners into a bright and captivating performance that is hard not to enjoy."-Abby Kenna (writer for Indie Spoonful)

"Fantastic! Love the songs, vocal harmonies- everything!" -Wendy Morris

"What a great collection of music :) Stopping by and hitting play...kicking back and enjoying some memorable catchy songs!" -Kenny Sawyer

Kurt has been building his fan base in the Fort Lauderdale area and has become a regular every Tuesday at Aruba Beach Cafe in Lauderdale--by-the-Sea. He has also been gaining a local following on the weekends at CJ Blacks in Davie where he often plays in his acoustic duo with Cary Scope and occasionally performs solo.

"Last Call" will be available for purchase and streaming on all major online platforms including: iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon & Spotify. Official release date September 10, 2021
