Gregor Kaufmann Project set to release new single "Inside Out" featuring Emma Withers

by Adam Bailey

Inspired by legendary bands from the early ages, such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd, to venture into music, Nikolaus Neumann of the Gregor Kaufmann Project has, over the years, played in various local bands, trying his hand at multiple genres of music before choosing his own kind of Electronic music.

With a vast discography dated back to over thirty years, Neumann is set to add another single onto that featuring the sensational Emma Withers from Emma & THE IDLES. The song "Inside Out" is being released on October 15, 2021, with a sample of its amazing vocals already available on Gregor Kaufmann Project's youtube page.

"Inside Out" is a dreamy yet upbeat slice of pop perfection that is filled with capturing vocals from Emma Withers. Done with gleaming production, complete with dazzling string vibes, ASMR sounds at the beginning of the song, and shimmering synths, the track is indeed complemented with the seamless vocals of Emma that seem to fit perfectly on each verse. Gregor Kaufmann Project has been teasing the song to his fans on all his social media pages, and the response so far is incredible.

With the persuasive lyrics, "Inside Out" is a leading-edge piece of music that will leave the listener in a state of admiration. “Am turning inside out” is one of the main statements murmured in the song's chorus. This will leave you wondering if the confusion and the state of feeling is of a positive outspring or somewhat negative. This makes the song a MUST LISTEN. So many pop songs have been released through the summer and have taken up the airwaves, but Inside Out is a sound of something different that you have not heard of yet. The Gregor Kaufmann Project has put so much thought into the song's production, mixing, and mastering to make it sound like a beautiful piece from the early 90s. The official track set to be released on October 15 will encompass all the production added onto the track. However, currently on Gregor Kaufmann Project YouTube page, an acoustic version released on September 18 is available for public streaming.

About The Gregor Kaufmann Project

Born and raised in Cologne, Germany, singer, producer, and songwriter Nikolaus Neumann formed “Gregor Kaufmann Project” in memory of one of his friends that passed away while still a teenager. The Gregor Kaufmann Project has since then been unfolded as an Electronic / Worldmusic project to the world.

Long after taking a break of almost 20 years from music, Neumann returned with The Gregory Kaufmann Project, including a vast discography of his original tracks that he had for over thirty years on his album “Analog Tapes.” Under his newfound brand, Neumann released his first single, “Indian 56,” on July 22, 2021. The song still stands available for public download on SoundCloud, Apple Music, Spotify, and Deezer.

In this first song, Neumann absolutely announced his return to the music circle with a delivery that had not been experienced for quite a long time.

The single “Indian 56” featured angelic sounds wrapped in outstanding production that laid out a production masterclass. The two and half minute song unfolded the rhythms of the classical 90s and the sound of the modern-day Blues music only found in the south of the United States.
