Rob Georg releases wonderful tribute to his Mom and all the mothers around the globe

Rob Georg is back with a touching country tribute song “My Mother’s Arms”. The song is dedicated to his mom who’s suffering from Alzheimer’s.

The message strikes more poignant when Rob explains that it’s important that she hears the song whilst mid-stage of the disease, being able to listen to that special gift.

Whilst the song touches on a sombre topic, it also offers hope, as Rob dedicates the song to all mothers around the world too.

“A huge thank you goes out to all the mothers around the world for the sacrifices they give for their children. There's nothing like a mother on this planet!

I‘m blessed with a wonderful mother, and thank God for her every day“ - Rob Georg

The song itself is a great sounding country tune, with all the pleasantries of a traditional country number. Supported by a gentle acoustic guitar, and occasional electric licks the balance between both with Rob's voice works wonders. The prominence of pedal steel in the chorus has a good balance and really expresses the sentiment of the song - the song will no doubt appeal and relate to a large audience!

It’s also worth noting that research suggests that listening to or singing songs can provide emotional and behavioral benefits for people with Alzheimer's disease. Perhaps “My Mother’s Arms” can offer some additional help with this too.
