Tony Carlucci follows up his critically acclaimed Sinatra tribute album 'Fly Me To The Moon' with his latest super release of classic nostalgia songs 'I Only Have Eyes For You'. It is a collection of great hits from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, Bobby Darin, Engelbert Humperdinck and more.
We listened to one of his singles Ain't That A Kick In The Head. An iconic song dating back to the late 50’s featuring one of the most famous crooners in history definitely needs justice whenever the song is covered. Tony Carlucci manages to capture the song and style perfectly, and it really takes you back to that era. Following Dean Martin is no easy feat, yet Tony brings back the nostalgia in his own form.

Also covered are solid and smooth renditions of Engelbert Humperdinck tunes such as 'Quando Quando Quando'and 'Another Time Another Place'. Tony adds inspired and energetic renditions of Bobby Darin songs 'Mack The Knife' and 'Beyond The Sea'. Tony also performs fine and elegant renditions of nostalgic songs such as "Hello Dolly", "Yes Sir That's My Baby", "When You're Smiling", "Pennies From Heaven" and "The Sheik Of Araby". Tony Carlucci closes out this fantastic album with a sultry rendition of "You Don't Know Me".
What’s impressive is Tony’s ability to switch between the styles of different classic artists. From Dean Martin to Elvis Presley he seems to capture the magic every time.
This entire album covers a wide variety of great classic songs and some lesser known tracks as well. It is a varied compilation of fast numbers, swing, easy listening and ballads. Absolutely a great album.
