Country Rock band ReknRoad have just released two new songs “Kinda Girl”, and “Gonna Rock This House Tonight”. Both tracks are taken from their upcoming third album that is yet to be named.

Since the release of these latest songs ReknRoad has accumulated over 100,000 Spotify spins with regular listeners in several countries. In addition, the band has also seen an influx of streams on Youtube and other platforms online.

Blending Country Rock, indie and Americana, ReknRoad's first release "Kinda Girl" is a memorable song with a chorus that sticks instantly. Not over-done in any way, the tracks well balanced, smooth delivery has an upbeat tempo that paints a great picture of the songs theme. Midway through, "Kinda Girl'' is split up by a tasteful country rock style guitar solo which adds to the whole vibe of the song. Style wise, the songs should appeal to listeners of The Eagles and Creedence Clearwater Revival etc.

“Gonna Rock This House Tonight” is a heavier number. This is instantly apparent by the catchy opening riff that isn’t too dissimilar to something you would hear from Metallica. Just before the midpoint of the song, the guitar matches the melody of the chorus - a great touch before the blistering guitar solo kicks in. “Gonna Rock This House Tonight” would go down great live in any venue, and would sure get the crowd going.

Embarking on an exciting new adventure, all these songs were recorded in their own new studio.

“Having our own studios allows us to learn that aspect of the business. There are other benefits - but, for us, it marks the end of an era connected with fond memories, but the beginning of a new one and its many horizons”.

Previous albums were recorded at SoundTek Studios in Campbell, CA. The company is owned and operated by multi instrumentalist Robert Berry (Six By Six, 3 a.k.a Emerson, Berry and Palmer, GTR, Ambrosia, Hush, Greg Khin, December People). Mastering was done by George Horn who’s known for his work with Credance Clear Water Revival.

ReknRoad consists of lead singer songwriter Jeff "Snakebite" Edwards, lead guitarist Tommy "Jamison" Fahlen, bassist Troy "LunnyKingus" Wilson, and drummer Colt “45" Fair.

ReknRoad pride themselves as an original live band who perform an eclectic, carefully written collection of songs suited for any audience. Performing in the most intimate setting (smaller venues), to the biggest and most production venues (concerts). ReknRoad’s original music is a collection of songs that explore the heart, life, and plain fun.
