A graduate of Stuyvesant High School, Leach further honed his craft at the City College of New York (CCNY), majoring in music, and studying at Jazzmobile in Harlem. His education was complemented by private saxophone lessons with jazz legend Jimmy Heath.

Leach’s career began in local R&B bands that played across New York City’s club and disco scene. His talent quickly propelled him to opportunities touring, working, and recording with renowned artists such as Evelyn “Champagne” King, Clifford Jordan, The Moments of Truth, Billy Jones, Vinzee, Lester Chambers of the Chambers Brothers, Denroy Morgan, Odyssey, Roy Ayers, Touch, Hidden Strength, Jolina, Unique, Gwen McRae, Doug E. Fresh, Father MC, Cooly Live, Smoothe Da Hustler/Nexx Level Productions, Misdemeanor, Abdullah Ibrahim, the Larry Joseph Project, and The Tylon Washington Project, among others.

A Multifaceted Producer and Musician

In addition to his performance career, Leach has been a prolific producer, creating demos for underground artists and working in nearly every major and minor studio in New York City and beyond. His label, Roblea Music, boasts a staggering catalog of over eight thousand tracks spanning genres such as hip-hop/R&B, dance/house, funk, dancehall, drum and bass, soca/calypso, reggae, and cinematic/thematic music.
