Latitude Festival is thrilled to announce the full line-up for the Faber Alt. & BBC Introducing Stage, a brand-new collaboration coming to the Lavish Lounge Arena from Thursday, 24 July to Sunday, 27 July 2025. This exciting partnership between Faber Alt., BBC Introducing, and the Lavish Lounge team promises four days of groundbreaking live music, immersive performance, and emerging talent in one of the most creatively vibrant corners of Henham Park.
Melvin Benn, Latitude Founder and Festival Director, said:
“The Lavish Lounge has long been a home for discovery and breakthrough talent at Latitude. Welcoming Faber Alt. into that space alongside our continued partnership with BBC Introducing is exactly the kind of collaboration Latitude exists for – one that brings bold ideas, fresh energy and exceptional talent to the fore.”
Faber Alt. is the home of alternative, crossover writers and artists – a division within independent music publisher Faber Music, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Founded in part by Lucy Holliday, Faber Alt. represents pioneering talent across alt-pop, folk, electronic, experimental, and more, including Alfa Mist, Lara Somogyi, Phoria, Keaton Henson, Henry Green, Nubiyan Twist, and Antony Szmierek.
BBC Introducing has been a vital force in championing new music since its launch in 2007. Over 1 million tracks have been uploaded to its platform, which now spans BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, Radio 3, 6Music, the Asian Network, and the local BBC radio network. It has helped launch the careers of Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, and Celeste, all of whom have gone on to grace the Obelisk Stage at Latitude. This year's stage will be curated by Angelle Joseph from BBC Introducing Suffolk and Norfolk and Matt Plumb from BBC Introducing Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Ed Marquis, Creative Manager, Faber Alt., commented:
“We at Faber Alt. are super excited to be welcomed to Latitude, alongside BBC Introducing, at the Lavish Lounge Arena. It's a big moment for us – Faber Alt. is built on the brilliant creativity and independency of our songwriters and artists. It's set to be a beautiful weekend of live performance, and we can't wait to see you there!”
Angelle Joseph, BBC Introducing, added:
“BBC Introducing is all about spotlighting new music and giving artists the chance to be heard. To bring that spirit to such a unique, creative space like the Lavish Lounge is incredibly exciting. This line-up reflects the rich diversity and talent rising across our region right now, and I can’t wait for Latitude’s audience to discover these voices for themselves.”
Matt Plumb, BBC Introducing, said:
“Every year, BBC Introducing offers a snapshot of where the future of music is heading and this stage is no exception. Together we’re showcasing artists whose creativity is powerful, honest, and completely of the moment.”
Thursday opens with a joyous jolt of energy from Supalung, the euphoric alt-soul duo of Sam Brookes and Pete Josef, whose 60s-inspired grooves and experimental melodies set the tone for an uplifting evening. They’re followed by Seckou Keita, a true master of the Kora whose elegant blend of African tradition and boundary-pushing innovation makes for a spellbinding solo set. Later, the elusive and critically acclaimed Keaton Henson delivers an incredibly rare live performance of his ambient album Somnambulant Cycles, accompanied by an immersive film installation of his own making. The night extends into the early hours with Kloyd, the Yorkshire-born, London-based DJ and composer whose ethereal, emotive electronic sets channel influences from Bonobo to Four Tet, crafting a deeply immersive dancefloor experience. This eclectic Thursday lineup promises a soulful, cinematic, and rhythmically rich start to the weekend.
Friday at Latitude continues the Faber Alt. momentum with a vibrant and genre-blending mix of fresh talent and rising stars. It begins with Sam Brookes, returning for a solo set of soaring alt-folk, followed by multi-disciplinary artist Tessa Rose Jackson, whose lush, dream-pop soundscapes and visual storytelling transport audiences to intimate inner worlds. The afternoon sees Ralph Taylor, a BBC Introducing One to Watch, deliver a reflective, lyrically sharp performance balancing hope and melancholy. He’s followed by the ethereal Fran Lusty, whose indie-folk storytelling continues to win hearts across the UK. Evening highlights include the genre-defying six-piece Monster Florence, bringing their explosive hip-hop-punk energy, and the powerful, shape-shifting set from Morgan, whose genre-spanning catalogue blends drum & bass, dancehall, pop, and global influences with fearless flair. Great Adamz keeps the momentum going with his infectious Afrobeats sound and feel-good energy, while Shelly closes out the night with a thumping DJ set of jungle, UKG, trance and club-heavy cuts, a perfect end to a Friday that moves seamlessly from acoustic intimacy to full-throttle euphoria.
Saturday kicks off with George Boomsma, whose emotive vocals and intricate guitar work create a magnetic, intimate atmosphere, setting the tone for a rich day of musical storytelling. Next, Ayanna Witter-Johnson takes the stage, fusing classical mastery with soul, jazz, reggae, and R&B, a genre-defying talent whose virtuosity is matched only by her emotional depth. The afternoon continues with the cinematic elegance of AVAWAVES, whose bold soundscapes and award-winning compositions take audiences on a sweeping, transcendent journey. As the day unfolds, Claudia Kate brings her empowering, honest lyricism to the fore, channelling Kate Nash and Maggie Rogers with a vibrant indie-pop edge. Peonie follows with smooth, soulful vocals that blend jazz and classic pop influences, while PORTEOUS energises the evening with funk-infused indie rock, a true multi-instrumentalist with festival anthems to match. Rising star Alice Lily then delivers neo-soul storytelling with heartfelt vulnerability, setting the stage for Steppers Division, whose soulful rock and African rhythms bring irresistible, feel-good energy to the night. Wrapping up Saturday with a moonlit adrenaline rush is Shaggy FX, the Suffolk-born DJ blending jungle, breaks, and drum & bass for a late-night set that promises to be unforgettable.
Sunday begins with cinematic serenity courtesy of JAKL, whose atmospheric compositions and Emmy-nominated sound design bring depth and beauty to the Faber Alt. stage. Later, George Boomsma Band returns with a more expansive sound, building on his solo set with lush arrangements and heartfelt storytelling. Sophie Jamieson follows with raw emotional power, delivering vulnerable, unflinching songs that cut straight to the core. Wyldest blends dream-pop and apocalyptic darkwave with ethereal sonic textures, offering a rich, immersive experience for introspective listeners. BBC Introducing pick, AFTERDRIVE inject their infectious indie-pop energy into the afternoon, followed by tinyumbrellas, whose gentle, folk-inflected dream pop captures the poignancy of young love and self-discovery. Floral Image bring a burst of psych-rock vitality, channelling playful psychedelia with heady, euphoric intensity. Fraser Morgan delivers a folk-punk set brimming with humour, heart and a fiery sense of purpose. The night builds to a high-octane close with The Trusted, whose alt-rock anthems are powered by post-punk urgency, and finally, Ellie Dixon headlines with her signature brand of witty, smart, alt-pop brilliance. With magnetic stage presence and a global following, she closes the weekend with bold, DIY flair and undeniable star power.
As always, the Lavish Lounge is more than a stage, it's a full creative world amongst the trees. Alongside the music, this year sees the return of District Art Installations, the Tiny Stage Open Mic, and new arenas Les’ Shed and The Shrine Stage, creating a kaleidoscopic experience of artistic discovery, surprise performances, and immersive creativity.
Ami Cadillac, Founder and Creative Director of Lavish Lounge, said, “The Lavish Lounge is bespoke to Latitude. Rooted and hand-grown through creative collaboration, with a continuing aim to immerse its audiences in a diverse & exciting multi-disciplinary program of discovery, all staged within a vibrant and engaging art-based environment.
