Gangnam Style Becomes the Most Viewed Video Ever on YouTube Psy’s Gangnam Style has become the most watched video on YouTube ever with 805 million views.

The Korean singer’s smash hit has beaten the previous title holder Justin Bieber with his song Baby which has a mere 803 million views.

Earlier this year, Gangnam Style broke its first record on YouTube by becoming the “most liked” video ever on the site with 2,234,180 likes. It easily beat LMFAO’s Party Rock Anthem which had 1,574,963 likes.

As well as having immense success on the internet with the song, Psy also became the first Korean to get to number one in the UK. The song has also enjoyed international success despite being very specific about poking fun at fashion conscious Koreans of the Gangnam district in Seoul.

The horse riding dance which Psy performs in the video has become a sensation with many famous figures copying it.

It has also inspired many parody videos including one by students at Eton who uploaded a video entitles “Eton Style”. Despite being only a parody of the original, it has also been viewed a respectable 2.7 million times and that number is only rising.

Psy has reportedly been approached by Justin Bieber’s management in hopes that the pair will unite to work on a song together.
