Rylan Clark Finally Leaves the X Factor
- in Latest
It’s been a long ride for him and by his own admission he had “seven free weeks” but Rylan Clark has finally been voted off the X Factor. Many feared another shock result like last week’s which saw favourite Ella Henderson go home but despite a growing army of fans, Rylan was finally showed the door.
Joining him in the bottom two was Louis Walsh’s group Union J.
Ironically, Rylan’s sing off song choice; Athlete’s Wires proved to be his best vocal performance on the show with even Gary Barlow indicating his approval.
Union J sang Snow Patrol’s Run in a performance which left the audience screaming.
The judge’s decision turned out to be almost unanimous. Louis and Nicole saved their own acts and Gary Barlow almost seemed regretful about sending Rylan home saying that they have had “a lot of fun” together on the show.
In the end, the decision was down to Tulisa who sent Rylan home with great regret citing the fact that she had to choose the act that she thought would sell more records in the long run for doing so.
Having always been a great lover of Rylan’s theatrical performances, it was clear to see that Tulisa was being sincere when she told : “Rylan you have made me laugh,” and “I admire your strength.”
Rylan himself didn't seem too upset about the result but then again, the controversy and buzz he has created around the show is bound to see him have a lucrative career on TV now that he has left the show.
