Fans of The Band CAMINO were thrilled this week as the trio unexpectedly released a brand-new EP titled "Bruises." The Nashville-based group, comprising Jeffery Jordan, Spencer Stewart, and Garrison Burgess, broke the news exclusively through Billboard. "Bruises" is now available for streaming on all major platforms.
The EP features the standout single “Nostalgia,” which premiered on SiriusXM’s ALT Nation “Advanced Placement.” The band, known for their infectious guitar-driven sound, described this release as a significant new beginning after nearly a decade together. “For a while, it felt like we were chasing something," they explained. "But now, we’re focused on expressing ourselves without any pressure.”
In creating "Bruises," The Band CAMINO revisited their roots, opting for a more organic approach to songwriting and recording. They crafted the songs in a live rehearsal setting, capturing the raw and unfiltered essence of their music. “We tracked everything live as a band and left the takes as raw as we could,” the trio said. This method was a deliberate effort to infuse their recordings with the same energy that defines their live performances.
In addition to the new EP, The Band CAMINO announced their upcoming "Taking Shape Tour," set to kick off on July 8th at Showbox SoDo in Seattle, WA, with support from Knox. The tour will cover various cities across the U.S. through early August, with tickets now available for purchase on their official website.
The release of "Bruises" follows the success of their critically acclaimed sophomore album "The Dark," which garnered praise from major outlets like Rolling Stone and Billboard. With this new EP, The Band CAMINO continues to push their musical boundaries, offering fans an intimate and powerful new collection of songs.
