There are plenty of rumours going around relating to the X Factor and who will be appearing on the judging panel for the next series.

It is now thought that Cheryl Cole might be in talks with Simon Cowell about returning after she visited his home in Los Angeles for a lengthy meeting.

The Mirror reported that Cheryl arrived at Cowell's mansion in true Hollywood style in a limo with blacked-out windows and stayed there for around for than three and a half hours, much too long for it to be a quick chat and a catch-up.

It was widely publicised that the pair had a falling out after Cowell decided to drop Cheryl from the US version of the X Factor but the pair seemingly had reconciled their differences with Cheryl having since appeared on the UK version to help Gary Barlow at Judges houses.

When asked about her relationship with Cowell, Cheryl said:  "We're 'frenemies'. I've spoken to him many times."

A source close to the pair spoke out about Simon's feelings towards Cheryl and down played the inportance of their meeting: "He's very fond of Cheryl. They've met up a few times in the last 18 months.

"This could pave the way for conversations down the line about X Factor but it wasn't about that."
