Los Angeles-based artist Rett Madison has shared a heartfelt new cover of Fleetwood Mac's iconic 1987 hit, “Everywhere,” out now via Warner Records/War Buddha Records. Madison, a celebrated vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, delivers a poignant rendition of the classic song, showcasing her emotive vocal style. The release also comes with a new music video, offering a visual counterpart to the cover.

In a touching statement, Madison shared the personal connection she has with “Everywhere”: “My mom introduced me to Fleetwood Mac, and we’d always listen to their ‘Greatest Hits’ on road trips. ‘Everywhere’ was my favorite—I used to call it ‘The Magic Song.’ It always reminds me of her.”

Rett Madison strips down the original’s energetic production, transforming “Everywhere” into a delicate and intimate acoustic ballad. With soft guitar melodies and a steady rhythmic pulse, the cover centers Madison’s fragile, airy vocals, which effortlessly highlight the emotional depth of the song. The accompanying video captures the rising star during a photoshoot, offering a glimpse into her authentic and raw persona.

In addition to the Fleetwood Mac cover, Madison is set to release One More For Jackie, a deluxe edition of her 2023 album One For Jackie, on October 25 to mark the album’s one-year anniversary. The expanded edition will include four new tracks, including “Everywhere,” giving fans even more insight into Madison’s reflective, folk-tinged storytelling.

Madison’s star continues to rise with an impressive year of live performances ahead. She will join The Fray on their national tour this fall and later support The Crane Wives. She will also make an appearance at the prestigious Austin City Limits Festival and perform alongside Medium Build. Earlier this year, she performed at Nashville’s Americanafest and shared the stage with artists like Mandy Moore and Margo Price at Carnegie Hall.

Her debut album, One for Jackie, earned critical acclaim upon its release, featuring standout tracks such as “Skydiving” and “Fortune Teller.” Madison’s unique blend of folk, rock, and Americana has drawn praise from tastemakers, with A Book Of noting her powerful vocal delivery and emotionally resonant lyrics.

With her Fleetwood Mac cover and upcoming deluxe release, Rett Madison is poised to continue making waves in the contemporary music scene.
