An autographed guitar from Ed Sheeran's "Mathematics Tour" collection has been put up for auction, with proceeds supporting the "G. Pasquinucci" Heart Hospital in Massa Carrara, Italy, a renowned center specializing in cardiovascular care and treatment. The auction, which began today, September 27th, offers a unique opportunity for fans and collectors to bid on the personally signed guitar, inscribed by Sheeran with the message, "play this guitar."

The British singer donated the instrument to Damiano Cavadi, a Roman content creator known for securing high-profile celebrity items for charity auctions. Cavadi's charitable efforts have previously featured contributions from tennis star Jannik Sinner, singer Shakira, actor Dustin Hoffman, and Russell Crowe, among others. Sheeran's guitar is the latest addition to this impressive lineup of donations.

Cavadi, who traveled to Lucca, Italy, last June to attend Sheeran’s concert, managed to meet the artist backstage and convinced him to sign the guitar. With Sheeran's consent, the guitar is now available for auction on the Catawiki platform, with all proceeds going to the hospital.

The "G. Pasquinucci" Hospital is a leading institution in cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment, making this auction a significant gesture of solidarity for a vital cause.
