Blake Shelton fans, get ready: the country superstar is set to debut his latest single, "Texas," on November 15. Known for his signature mix of authenticity and charm, Shelton's new song delves into the classic tale of lost love with a fresh twist, subtly tipping its hat to George Strait’s legendary hit, "All My Ex’s Live in Texas."

“The thing that struck me about ‘Texas’ immediately was how different it sounded for me, and I’m always looking to push myself,” Shelton shared. “I think there’s something really special about this record and important for me.”

Written by Johnny Clawson, Kyle Sturrock, Josh Dorr, and Lalo Guzman, "Texas" spins the story of a man abandoned by a free-spirited woman, leaving him wondering if she’s now somewhere in Texas. It’s a song that captures the magnetic Texas charm with a call-and-response style that’s sure to invite singalongs. The track, produced by Shelton's longtime collaborator Scott Hendricks, will also serve as his debut release under BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville and Wheelhouse Records.

Shelton, who has topped the charts 29 times, most recently did so alongside Post Malone with their hit "Pour Me A Drink." He sees "Texas" as the perfect next step in his career evolution, calling it “the perfect start to the next chapter.”

To celebrate the single’s release, Shelton will perform "Texas" on Jimmy Kimmel Live on November 20, where fans can catch a live rendition of the track alongside an exclusive interview.
