Adele is in the running for another Golden Globe as it has been announced that her song Skyfall which she wrote with Paul Epworth has been nominated for best original track at the Golden Globe Awards 2013.

Even the film’s star Daniel Craig approved of the song as soon as he heard it, telling Yahoo! Movies: "I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning."

As well as the film’s title track being given recognition, the film itself has been hotly tipped as being in the running to receive and Oscar next year though the nominations have yet to be officially announced.

Adele has some stiff competition from other songs including Suddenly from Les Miserables

Les Miserables has had several nominations including best actor for Hugh Jackman.

The other songs, and the films that they are from are as follows:

For You - Act of Valor

Not Running Anymore - Stand Up Guys

Safe and Sound - The Hunger Games

Skyfall - Skyfall

Suddenly - Les Miserables

The Golden Globe Awards will take place on January 13th 2013 in Los Angeles and are celebrating their 70th awards so the night is sure to be one to remember.
