Soul music legends The Stylistics are making a triumphant return with their first new album in nearly 20 years. Titled "FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY GIRL", the 21-track record is set to release worldwide on February 21, 2025. Featuring collaborations with an impressive lineup of legendary artists, the album marks a significant milestone in the group’s iconic career, which has brought fans timeless classics like "Stop, Look, Listen (To Your Heart)," "You Are Everything," and "You Make Me Feel Brand New."

The first single, "Yes, I Will," a soulful duet featuring Shania Twain, will debut on February 14, 2025. The single, co-written by Twain and Nathan East, with contributions from producer Tom Cridland, showcases The Stylistics’ enduring ability to connect with fans through heartfelt, timeless music.

"FALLING IN LOVE WITH MY GIRL" is produced by Tom Cridland and executive produced by Deborah Cridland. The album boasts an all-star roster of collaborators, including:

Recorded at iconic studios across the globe, the album also holds the distinction of being the final project created at the legendary Record Plant in Hollywood, California.

"Yes, I Will": A Valentine’s Day Gift for Music Fans

The album’s lead single, "Yes, I Will," began with an invitation for Shania Twain to sing on a pre-existing track. However, Twain suggested a soulful, heartfelt song she co-wrote with Nathan East. The track features performances by Ray Parker Jr., Steve Lukather, and East, and became the final song recorded for the album.

Twain expressed her enthusiasm:

“I’m so happy that this song I wrote, ‘Yes, I Will,’ has found a home on The Stylistics album. That is just so exciting. It’s a special song that came together on one special day at my home where I was hanging out with some friends and musicians. So I think it turned out great, and I’m just really excited to share it with the whole world.”

The Stylistics’ Airrion Love added:

“I fell in love with Shania Twain the first time I heard ‘You’re Still the One’—a great song that I still love. When we heard there might be a chance to do something with her, we said, ‘Hell yeah!’”

The Stylistics: A Legacy of Timeless Soul

The Stylistics, whose original members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell continue to perform alongside Jason Sharp (who joined in 2011), recorded their vocals for the album at studios in Philadelphia and Baltimore. Background vocals, arranged by Tom Cridland, were recorded in the Scottish Highlands and at Fame Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

In addition to songs penned by Cridland, Anthony King, and Fiona Shaw, the album features two tracks written by Airrion Love: "Sad Tomorrows" and "I Get A Feeling."
