Music icon and 14-time Grammy Award-winner Lady Gaga is set to deliver a monumental performance on May 3, 2025, at the iconic Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, marking her long-awaited return to Brazil after more than a decade. The highly anticipated event will be free to the public and is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of fans from around the world.

The concert, produced by Bonus Track in partnership with Live Nation, will be the first in the newly launched Todo Mundo no Rio initiative, a platform dedicated to showcasing large-scale cultural events in Rio de Janeiro. Presented by Corona, the initiative aims to highlight the transformative power of entertainment in the city, with the support of the Rio de Janeiro State Government and the City of Rio de Janeiro.

Gaga’s performance will take place on a custom-built stage designed to bring her unique creative vision to life. The show will be broadcast live on Multishow and TV Globo at 9 PM BRT, ensuring fans worldwide can experience the spectacle in real time. The event will be open on a first-come, first-served basis, with the main access point near the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel.

This announcement coincides with the soaring success of Gaga’s latest single, “Abracadabra,” from her upcoming album MAYHEM, set for release on March 7 via Interscope Records. The track debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Pop Songs Chart and has already amassed over 124 million monthly listeners on Spotify, breaking the record for the largest monthly audience ever achieved by a female artist. Its visually striking music video, directed by Gaga alongside Parris Goebel and Bethany Vargas, has already surpassed 47 million views on YouTube.

Gaga’s MAYHEM era has already seen major milestones, including the release of “Disease,” which has been hailed as one of her most compelling works in years. Meanwhile, her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “Die With a Smile,” has achieved unprecedented success, becoming the longest-running No. 1 song on Spotify Global of all time and the fastest song in history to reach 1 billion streams on the platform. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks and earned Gaga her 14th Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Beyond the concert, Todo Mundo no Rio seeks to leave a lasting cultural and economic impact by boosting tourism, creating jobs, and solidifying Rio as a premier destination for world tours. With sponsorship from the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro, City of Rio de Janeiro, Santander, LatAm, C&A, and Eventim, as well as support from Deezer and media partners TV Globo, Globoplay, and Multishow, the initiative promises to bring world-class entertainment to the city for years to come.

As Lady Gaga gears up for this historic performance, anticipation continues to build for her MAYHEM album release and upcoming headlining sets at Coachella on April 11 and 18. With her innovative artistry and global influence, Gaga’s return to Brazil is set to be nothing short of legendary.
