Multi-platinum pop-punk veterans Simple Plan are hitting the road this summer with their highly anticipated "Bigger Than You Think!" tour. In celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary, the tour will bring their signature high-energy performances to fans across the United States. Produced by Live Nation, the 19-city tour kicks off on Saturday, August 9, at WAMU Theater in Seattle, WA, and will make stops in major cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston before wrapping up in Irving, TX, on Saturday, September 6, at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory.
Joining Simple Plan on all dates are special guests 3OH!3 and Bowling for Soup, along with rising pop-rock artist LØLØ, who will open each show. Drummer Chuck Comeau commented:
We’re so excited for our ‘Bigger Than You Think!’ U.S. tour this summer! It’s hard to believe, but these will be our first proper U.S. headline shows in more than eight years, and the timing couldn’t be better as we celebrate our 25th anniversary as a band! We will be putting on the biggest shows of our lives, playing everything from our biggest hits to songs we haven’t performed in years, and bringing the most elaborate stage production we’ve ever had! It’s gonna be epic!"
Known for their anthemic hits like "Welcome to My Life," "Perfect," and "I’m Just a Kid," Simple Plan continues to captivate audiences worldwide. The tour follows the release of their latest album, Harder Than It Looks, and coincides with the band’s upcoming Amazon Prime documentary, set to debut later this summer.
Tickets for the "Bigger Than You Think!" tour will be available starting with a Citi presale on Tuesday, February 25, with additional presales running throughout the week. General on-sale begins on Friday, February 28, at 10 AM local time at officialsimpleplan.com.
Fans can also purchase VIP experiences, which include meet-and-greets, exclusive photo opportunities with the band, VIP laminates, and more. Details on VIP packages can be found at officialsimpleplan.com/vip.
Simple Plan will donate $1 from each ticket sold to the Simple Plan Foundation. Established in 2005, the foundation aims to help young people in need and promote music as a means of finding purpose and direction. To date, the organization has donated over $2 million to charitable causes in Canada.
