Internationally acclaimed Punjabi music sensation Karan Aujla has teamed up with GRAMMY®-nominated pop superstars OneRepublic for the release of their highly anticipated single, "Tell Me." Produced by the renowned South Asian producer Ikky, the track debuted today via Warner Music Canada and Warner Music India. This collaboration marks a historic moment as both artists perform in both English and Punjabi for the first time.

Accompanying the release, the official music video features Bollywood superstar Disha Patani, adding a cinematic touch to the track. "Tell Me" made its debut on Apple Music 1's New Music Daily Radio Show with Zane Lowe, where Aujla and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder discussed their collaboration. Tedder, reflecting on the global influence of South Asian music, stated, "Anyone who's not paying attention to India or Southeast Asia right now, on a cultural tip, is asleep at the wheel."

Karan Aujla's meteoric rise from rural Punjab to the global music scene is a testament to his unique blend of Punjabi folk, hip-hop, and R&B. His critically acclaimed albums, BacTHAfuKUP and Making Memories, have solidified his status as one of the most influential Punjabi artists worldwide. Making Memories (2023) generated billions of streams and led to a sold-out world tour. His widespread influence extends to Bollywood, where his hit "Tauba Tauba" became a national sensation.

Aujla made history by becoming the first South Asian artist to win the TikTok JUNO Fan Choice Award in 2024. In 2025, he continues to make waves with multiple JUNO Award nominations, including Single of the Year for "Winning Speech," and his collaboration with OneRepublic on "Tell Me."

OneRepublic, led by singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder, has been a dominant force in the music industry since their debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007. With hits like "Apologize," "Counting Stars," and "I Ain't Worried," the band has amassed billions of streams globally. Their 2024 album Artificial Paradise and its deluxe edition further cemented their status as pop powerhouses.

OneRepublic continues to push boundaries with international collaborations, including their UEFA Euro 2024 anthem "Fire" and the anime theme song "Nobody (from Kaiju No. 8)." Their latest collaboration with Karan Aujla on "Tell Me" signals a significant step in cross-cultural music fusion.

Canadian producer Ikky has been at the forefront of modern Punjabi music, seamlessly blending hip-hop and pop elements with traditional Punjabi sounds. As the executive producer of Making Memories and the creative director of 91 North Records, Ikky has played a crucial role in elevating South Asian talent on the global stage. With over 4 billion streams to his name, his work includes chart-topping tracks like "Diamond" with Gurnam Bhullar and "52 Bars" with Karan Aujla.

As "Tell Me" takes the world by storm, the collaboration between Karan Aujla, OneRepublic, and Ikky underscores the growing impact of South Asian music in mainstream global culture. With its fusion of Punjabi and English, the track is a milestone in bridging musical worlds and reaching diverse audiences worldwide.
