Earlier this week, Cyrus introduced the first two tracks from the album—‘Prelude’ and ‘Something Beautiful’—offering a glimpse into the sonic and visual narrative she’s crafting. Today, Friday, April 3, she continues the journey with the release of ‘End of the World’, reinforcing the album’s immersive and operatic vision.
The album artwork, shot by Glen Luchford, features Cyrus in a 1997 archival Thierry Mugler couture piece, which also appears in the Prelude visual. Fashion plays a central role throughout the project, with original custom designs by Casey Cadwallader for Mugler in ‘Something Beautiful’ and ‘End of the World.’
The visual film showcases the largest archival loan of Thierry Mugler pieces ever granted to a single individual, alongside rare designs from Jean Paul Gaultier, custom Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa. Cinematographer Benoît Debie adds to the project’s striking aesthetic, enhancing its cinematic depth and emotional storytelling.
With Something Beautiful, Miley Cyrus once again pushes creative boundaries, seamlessly blending music, fashion, and film into a singular, cinematic experience. Stay tuned for more as the album’s full visual journey unfolds.
