Zac Brown, the Grammy-winning frontman of the Zac Brown Band, received the inaugural Veterans Voice Award at the 2025 American Music Awards, held Monday night in Las Vegas.

The award recognizes artists who have shown outstanding support for the veteran community. Brown was honored for his long-standing efforts through Camp Southern Ground, the Georgia-based nonprofit he founded. The organization provides programs for both youth and veterans, focusing on PTSD support, transition assistance, storytelling, and building community.

Brown has made veteran outreach a consistent part of his career. Before many shows, the Zac Brown Band meets with veterans and often invites them on stage as part of their performances—offering both visibility and recognition.

In addition to receiving the award, Brown also made headlines for his appearance on the red carpet with jewelry designer Kendra Scott, marking the couple’s official debut at a public event.

The ceremony took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
