James Arthur Set to Reclaim Number One Spot

James Arthur may have just missed out on the Christmas number one spot but it looks as though he might be having an excellent start to the New Year with his single “Impossible” climbing back up to the top spot in the mid-week charts.

The early predictions show that he could be returning the favour to The Justice Collective by knocking them off the number one as they did with him.

“Impossible” is a cover of Shontelle’s song but this hasn't put the public off with sales far surpassing the original.

As well as that, James has also become the biggest selling X Factor winner ever having already sold more than the combined sales of Olly Murs, JLS, Joe McElderry, Little Mix and One Direction’s debut singles.

It’s certainly a great start to James’ career in music and he apparently isn't letting the iron get cold with claims that he is hoping to get his debut album out as soon as possible next year.

Elsewhere in the top ten, there is also another surprise result going on as Psy’s hugely popular hit “Gangnam Style” has crept back up the charts and is looking to take the number two spot again.
