One of the media’s biggest poster children, who can attribute much of his success to the coverage he has received from various media outlets has slammed Hollywood Life, claiming it is “complete garbage”.

Justin Bieber voiced his outrage over an article that was published by Hollywood Life with the headline “Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez: Why Their Church Believes They Should Be Together”.

Accounts from people who were at the scene have since said that it was a chance meeting by the pair who weren’t expecting to run into each other but turned out to be harmless and gave the pair a chance to catch up. The article that is the focus of Bieber’s rage paints a very different picture however.

An outraged Bieber took to his Instagram account shortly after seeing the piece and said: “HOLLYWOOD LIFE IS THE MOST OUTRAGEOUS FAKE WEIRD NON FACTUAL GARBAGE WEBSITE IVE EVER SEEN. THEY LITERALLY MAKE UP WHATEVER THEY WANT AND USUALLY I DONT CARE BUT THIS ONE IS SO RIDICULOUS I HAD TO SAY SOMETHING DONT GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND GIVE THEM ANY TRAFFIC.”

You can tell he’s angry by the shouty capital letters which I have not changed from the original post.

It seems odd that someone who has had so much media attention from such an early age should get so upset about one very minor article on a website but his relationship with the media has always been a very tense one.

Tense as it may be, it is a mutually beneficial one, whether Bieber likes that fact or not. He is either not thinking about on which side his bread is buttered, or he is being quite clever by taking advantage of a situation and giving it even more coverage.
