Police Catch Motorist Trying to Find New Sam Smith Song on His Phone
Police in the UK caught a motorist using his mobile phone, his excuse was that he was trying to find the new Sam Smith song on Youtube via his phone.
Although some may consider it to be, its not actually a crime to listen to Sam Smith. However, using your phone whilst driving is. This can land points on your license and carry a fine.
Dorset Police said when the driver was stopped he said: "I was trying to find that new Sam Smith song on You tube because I didn't have it on my phone." - Probably not one of the best excuses he could of used.
The offense happened when Police were carrying out traffic checks. The motorist ended up with a £100 fine and 3 points on his license.
Sam Smith released 'Writing's On The Wall', it also has been written as the official soundtrack to the new James Bond film Spectre.
The film which is starred by Daniel Craig was released last Monday. Reports already suggest that the film has broken UK box office records
