Liberty X Star Auditions for the Voice
The Voice has showcased many familiar talents over the years and this series is going to be no exception after it was revealed that Kevin Simm of Liberty X fame will be appearing on this Saturday’s show.
It has been 15 years since the Pop Stars rejects were formed and they reunited briefly for The Big Reunion but the Liberty X camp has remained largely quiet since.
Kevin has had attempts at a solo career since the group disbanded and has now decided to take part in the BBC1 talent show in order to have a second shot at the limelight.
He has admitted that he was nervous about none of the celebrity judges turning their chairs for him but there has been no word as yet as to if any of them actually did.
"I just have a feeling that this is what I have to do," Kevin said.
"I signed with a label and recorded my own album. At that point, I was like, 'This is going to be awesome, I'm going to be massive'. Then I just got shelved, pretty much.
"What can you do? It puts you off music a little bit. It did knock my confidence a lot."
TV bosses have been very tight lipped about the audition but it has been revealed that Kevin takes on Sia’s Chandelier in his audition.
Fans who want to know how well he did will have to tune in to the show this Saturday to find out if he makes the cut for team Paloma, team George, team Ricky or team will.i.am.
